Return Policy

Effective Date: 1/1/26

Deskor designs and ships large, architectural desk systems that require specialized packaging and freight delivery. Please review the following return policy carefully prior to placing your order.

1. Returns Eligibility

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Returns are not accepted without prior authorization.

2. Non-Refundable Charges

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs, including freight pickup fees, are the responsibility of the customer

  • For freight returns, all carrier fees, lift-gate charges, and accessorial costs will be deducted from the refund

Shipping fees cover logistics coordination, packaging, handling, and carrier services and are separate from product pricing.

3. Condition Requirements

All returned items must:

  • Be unused, unassembled, and in new condition

  • Show no signs of wear, installation, or modification

  • Be returned in original packaging, including all protective materials

    • If original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for providing equivalent protective packaging suitable for freight transport

Deskor reserves the right to refuse or partially refund returns that arrive damaged, incomplete, improperly packaged, or not in as-new condition.

4. Inspection & Refunds

  • All returns are inspected upon receipt

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment

  • Refunds apply to the product price only (excluding shipping and return costs)

  • Taxes are refunded in accordance with applicable laws

Deskor’s determination regarding product condition after inspection is final.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:

  • Custom or made-to-order products

  • Products that have been assembled, partially assembled, or installed

  • Glass components are considered complete upon successful delivery and inspection

  • Products modified from their original configuration

  • Items marked Final Sale

  • Promotional items discounted 50% or more

6. Cancellations

Before Shipment

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment, provided a shipping label has not been created.

After Shipment

Once a shipping label has been created, the order is considered shipped and cannot be canceled. Any request after this point will be treated as a return and subject to this return policy.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges may be requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to approval.

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the exchanged item

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly

Exchange requests must be approved before shipping any item back.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

Customers are responsible for inspecting all deliveries at the time of delivery. Acceptance of delivery without notation constitutes acknowledgment that the items were received in acceptable condition.

Freight Deliveries

  • Any visible damage must be noted on the Proof of Delivery before signing

  • Photos should be taken immediately

  • Damaged items should be rejected at delivery when possible

Reporting Timeline

  • Damage or defects must be reported to Deskor within 48 hours of delivery

  • Failure to note damage at delivery or report within this timeframe may limit or void eligibility for replacement or refund

Glass tops ship separately and are subject to the same inspection and reporting requirements.

9. Lost or Missing Shipments

If a shipment is marked as delivered but not received:

  • Deskor is not responsible for theft or loss after delivery

  • We will assist in filing a trace or carrier claim when applicable

  • Replacement or refund is not guaranteed unless required by law or covered by optional package protection

Unclaimed or refused shipments are treated as returns and may be subject to return shipping and restocking fees.

10. Oversized & Freight Returns

Due to the size and weight of Deskor products:

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring items fit through doorways, hallways, elevators, and stairwells prior to ordering

  • Orders refused due to access issues or size constraints are considered returns

  • Freight returns incur significantly higher costs, which will be deducted from any approved refund

11. Package Protection (Optional)

If optional package protection was selected at checkout, claims for loss, theft, or transit damage must be submitted directly through the protection provider in accordance with their terms.
